8月28日，2011大众汽车中国赛车Scirocco R-Cup在雪邦国际赛车场完成了第八回合比赛， 3号车手蒙特西(Stefano Montesi)获得冠军，获得亚军的是10号车手程飞(David Cheng)，获得季军的是5号车手游绍明(Sam Yau)。根据周六比赛的成绩，前八名的车手倒序发车，头排是2号井田雅彦(Ida Masahiko)和25号田利英，在第二排的是10号程飞和5号游绍明，在第三排发车的是6号尹海涛和22号张大胜，蒙特西和安德烈亚占据第四排。
周日下午15:19比赛开始，井田雅彦的起步并不是特别顺利，而日本人身后的程飞则顺风顺水，起步就超越了杆位，并带领群车进入一号弯。进入2号弯，起步落在第四位的田利英想从内线超越尹海涛，双车并行抢线发生碰撞，田利英的赛车打转撞墙，停在大直道边上。第二圈赛会出动安全车，此时程飞排在第一，井田雅彦第二，蒙特西第三，张大胜、安德烈亚、尹海涛占据第四到第六。
第六圈，绿旗挥动比赛恢复正常。张大胜在6号弯超过蒙特西，而排在第二的井田雅彦在超车中将程飞挤出赛道，程飞成功救车但是损失了几个位置。在接下来的12号弯，井田雅彦撞上张大胜，令其赛车失控打转，先是撞上从外线驶过的安德烈亚，又被紧接而来的尹海涛撞上车头而退赛。此时蒙特西从内线避过这一连环事故升至第一位。程飞上升到第二位，井田雅彦排在第三。
赛会向2号车手井田雅彦出示黑旗，但他继续在赛道上行驶，并没有放弃对前车的追赶。此时领跑的蒙特西已经优势明显，最终率先冲线获得冠军，全场总用时27:13.696；程飞获得亚军，是尚酷R杯颁奖台上的新面孔；游绍明获得季军。全场最快单圈2:35.180，由获得第五名的安德烈亚做出。

August 28th, 2011, the 8th round of Scirocco R-Cup China came to Sepang International Circuit. Stefano Montesi won, David Cheng captured 2nd and Sam Yau was 3rd.The Sunday grid saw Ida Masahiko and Tian Liying on the front row, Cheng and Yau on 2nd row, Yin Haitao and Zhang Dasheng on 3rd, while 2 Italian Montesi and Andrea Reggiani on 4th. The race started at 15:19 on Sunday afternoon, pole-sitter Masahiko had a slippery start while David Cheng, who started right behind him, managed to pass Masahiko and led the race to T1. Tian (Position 4) was trying to overtake Yin Haitao from inside, two cars were running very closely side by side and crashed in the end. Tian's car hit heavily on the wall and stopped on the side, while Yin managed to continue. Safety car was sent. Cheng was leading, with Masahiko and Montesi following closely behind; Zhang, Reggiani, Yin were 4th, 5th and 6th, respectively.
The race restarted at lap 6. Zhang Dasheng passed Montesi at T6. Masahiko (P2) pushed Cheng (P1) out of track. Cheng managed to rejoin the race but it cost him several positions. Car No.2 Masahiko hit car No.22 Zhang on the rear, Zhang lost control of the car and spun, Reggiani & Yin couldn't avoid the accident and both hit Zhang. Zhang Dasheng's car stopped in the gravel and retired from the race. Montesi on the other hand, passed the accident and took the lead, while David Cheng moved up to P2. Car No.2 Masahiko was 3rd. Masahiko was black flagged at the coming lap. Montesi extended his lead and won the race with total time of 27:13.696. Cheng was 2nd and became another new face on the podium. Sam Yau finished the race 3rd. The best lap was set by Reggiani (5th) 2:35.180.After 8 rounds, Montesi (83) is leading the points table with only 2 points advantage over Reggiani (81 points). Zhang Dasheng is 3rd (74 points). The Scirocco R-Cup China will travel back to Sepang International Circuit for the endurance weekend in September 15th-17th.
